Made By Jack's Mum
I’m really pleased this week, it’s been such a busy week making orders for clients. I got my first big order and have been working on it for about a week. A few days after more orders started rolling in as I guess people are wanting Christmas presents for family now. I have been looking into pdf patterns and have always been curious about them but as I don’t own a printer I haven’t ventured into them. My mother in law said I could borrow her printer and I bought two patterns from “made by jacks mum” or known as “MBJM”. I bought the aviator hat and the harem pants as I wanted to make my son some stuff for Christmas. I started with the aviator hat as I had some polar fleece and some cotton so thought I’d have a practice run before using expensive fabric. The pattern is so easy to follow and I was really shocked at how it came out. I’m so impressed as I’ve never had much luck making hats before. The instruction comes with brilliant pictures and fantastic instructions which are so simple to follow! I would really recommend if you haven’t looked them up on Facebook. I wanted to get some shots of my son wearing his lovely new hat, but as you know if you have had toddlers they don’t particularly like wearing hats! So that’s my mission for the next few weeks. Also, keep posted as I’ll be making my first ever dress very shortly, the Lilou dress by Tilly and the buttons “Love at first stitch” book!
